Photographing another photographer is always a little nerve-wracking—but it’s also so much fun. This session was no exception!

A good friend of mine, Fusion Photography, stepped into my studio this time, and we captured some classic, timeless portraits. As someone who’s usually behind the camera, he knew exactly what he liked but also trusted the process, which made for such an easygoing, creative session.

One of my favorite parts of this shoot? The tone-on-tone looks we played with! Matching outfits to the background creates such a clean, modern aesthetic, and it really makes the subject pop in a subtle but striking way. It’s one of my go-to styles in portrait photography, and this session reminded me why I love it so much!

While I focus on portraits and weddings, he’s an absolute pro when it comes to newborn photography—something I personally don’t offer. If you’re looking for beautifully captured moments of your little one, I highly recommend checking out his work. He has the patience (and magic touch!) needed to create those soft, dreamy newborn images that parents will cherish forever.

Every photographer needs their portraits taken too!! We’re all guilty of it—spending so much time creating for others that we forget to exist in photos ourselves. But whether you’re a photographer, entrepreneur, or just someone who wants updated portraits, investing in a session for you is always worth it.

So, if you’re in need of newborn photography—or just want to follow another amazing local photographer—definitely check out Fusion Photography. And if you are looking for timeless portraits, you know where to find me! 😉
