S + A | Intimate Montreal Wedding
Today I wanted to show you the wedding of Saki and Alessandro. I met this lovely couple a few WEEKS before their big day. And I’m very thankful because they were sooooo amazing.
This little wedding was the perfect combination of beautiful, comfortable and love. An intimate affair in the groom’s parents home in Westmount. The couple got ready in separate rooms, the cocktail hour was in the backyard, and the ceremony and reception were in the living room. Friends did hair, Bride did her own makeup, Mom did the flowers, Friends played the music and performed the ceremony. They had no wedding party and we took a walk in the neighborhood for photos.
A and S brought together their closest friends and family and it was just perfect. This wedding wasn’t about the decor or the flowers. It was about love. That’s all that was important. I approve! By the end of the evening, everyone knew each other by name and left with a potential new friend.
If I ever got married, this is what I would do. Congratulations guys! You both are amazing!
Also… Saki’s outfit was so beautiful, no? Here’s some info of what was planned:
Dress Maker: Yasmine Wasfy from Boutique Lustre
Tux : Sandro Battaglia from Battaglia & Aly
Jewellery : Boutique Lustre
Cake/Sweet table: Cake – Yuki’s Bakery Sweets Table – Patisserie Rhubarbe
Planner : Cathy Valiante (mom)
Florist / Decor : Yoko Uchida (mom)
If there’s one piece of advice you could give other brides during this planning process, what would it be? It’s easy to get caught up in the details and feel stressed out about all of the decisions that have to be made, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is that you get to marry the love of your life.
