J+J | Montreal Wedding

Today. I’m sharing an amazing wedding day in Montreal with two amazing ladies. J+J
It was such a fun time and we got the most amazing weather for it. Let me talk to you about the process and timeline of the day so that it maybe can inspire you for your own wedding day.

J+J booked a 10 hours wedding day with me which included an engagement session and a second photographer. I call this package: The modern package.

The timeline essentially went like this:

Photographer arrival to brides 2:00pm
First look 3:00pm
Leave for ceremony 3:30pm
Ceremony 5:00pm
Family Portraits 5:30pm
Cocktails 5:30pm
Creative Portraits
6:00pm
Reception 6:45pm
First Dance 8:00pm
Father/daughter or Mother/Daughter Dance 8:15pm
Photographer(s) Depart 12:00am
Other Important Speech 7:00pm
The day started over at Hotel Place d’Armes (55 Rue Saint-Jacques, Montréal, QC H2Y 1K9) where we all got ready in the same room. The ladies then separated and got dressed in a different room to get ready for their first look, which we did downstairs in the pool room. We then left for the ceremony at La Toundra. The ceremony happened outside. This was all on September 15th. Which is pretty much the best weather Montreal can get for a wedding. May/June usually rains, July and August is TOOOOO HOOTTTT.

After the ceremony, we did family photos and then creative (couple) photos.

The evening then consisted of a speech, Food (which was a tapas bar), loads of dancing and laughs with a band and HOUR LOCA at midnight.

Here are the photos.
