There\u2019s something so special about maternity boudoir\u2014especially when it\u2019s done at home, where you feel the most comfortable. That\u2019s exactly what this session was all about.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Is Me\u201d is a boudoir experience designed to be relaxed, intimate, and completely you<\/em>. No professional hair or makeup, no stiff posing\u2014just real, beautiful moments captured in your own space. And for this gorgeous maternity session, that space included two very sweet dogs who absolutely<\/em> stole the show.<\/p>\n

One of the best parts of this session? Meeting their newest family member\u2014a golden retriever rescue who had just joined the home. I always encourage people to adopt instead of shop when looking for a pet, and seeing this pup settle into his new life made my heart so full. Their husky, already a beloved part of the family, was right there with us too, hopping up on the bed for some of the first shots.<\/p>\n

We started in the bedroom, where the morning light poured in through the window. The husky made sure to be front and center for a few cozy moments on the bed before we moved on to different spaces around the house. With every click of the camera, we focused on keeping things raw, natural, and true to the moment.<\/p>\n

Typically, maternity boudoir sessions run a little longer because we blend two styles\u2014intimate photos indoors and then, lovely portraits outside with their partner. This blog post includes a little less photos. Her partner prefers to stay off the internet (a choice I completely respect), so, we kept many intimate moments who included both just for them.<\/p>\n

Boudoir photography is about confidence, self-expression, and feeling amazing in your own skin. But doing it at home? That adds a whole other layer of comfort and authenticity. It\u2019s your space, your vibe, and a chance to capture yourself in a way that feels 100% real.<\/p>\n

Maternity is such a wild, beautiful season of life, and these photos? They\u2019re a reminder of that raw, powerful beauty\u2014just as you are.<\/p>\n
