C | Montreal Boudoir
Welcome to my first session in my new studio… already over a year ago now. This is way before everything was decorated. When you move into a new place, there’s always a period where everything is so unsure. Let me explain: As a photographer, we retouch a LOT of images. They are all different shoot per shoot but still… quite similar for us. To help us retouch faster, we develop “presets” in our retouching software to start retouching images in one click based on where the photo was taken. Outdoors, green spaces, wedding lighting etc.. styles that tend to repeat. When you move into a new place… none of those presets work anymore and you need to make new ones. Thankfully, C (who is the hair and makeup person for all boudoir sessions 😉 came over and allowed me to photograph her in different ways so that I could test the light and then make presets that would match the space.
I think they turned out quite alright. What do you think?
