A portrait session. I love love love when clients bring fun colourful outfits. A session is the perfect place to bring that outfit that you own and never had an opportunity to wear.

Let’s talk about this beautiful wedding. R & M From the stunning gown by @stellayork to the sharp tux from @suitablee, every detail came together beautifully. And it was mostly DIY ! Flowers from @costco, décor finds from @amazon, and a personalized playlist set the perfect atmosphere for a truly unforgettable celebration at Fritz Farm in Montreal. 💐🎶  The bridal party looked amazing in outfits from @boutique1861 and custom pieces from @boutiquelustre. 💕@carolineshunbo did the flawless makeup and the bride’s talented bridesmaid, Kayla, did the gorgeous hair! The sweetest part? A delicious cake and cupcakes lovingly made by the bride’s sister-in-law, alongside a sweet table by @creationpassiontraiteur. There’s way too many pretty pictures to post them all in 20 slides. I’ll have to blog it soon.   If there’s one piece of advice from this couple: Make every decision with you and your partner’s best interest in mind. ❤️

There’s nothing better than someone who understands how important it is to hire a pro to capture you popping the question. Maybe I’m biased?I think it’s catching on because I’m getting more and more proposal requests. I’m not sure why 99% of them happen in brutal winter, but here we are.Often, these requests come from people who are out of town. Because of that, they need help finding spots that match their vision or ideas on how to get their partner to a particular place at just the right time.I always suggest things like pretending to go visit an area and telling their partner that they’ll be heading out for a nice dinner afterwards so they can dress up nicely. After all, you wouldn’t want professional photos in sweats—unless that’s your vibe.Picking a spot can be daunting, but we can work it out together. And if we’re not sure how a spot looks, I can always go out and scout it for you (because, Montreal construction). I have no issues getting there early and looking like a tourist before you show up—what’s one more trip to take photos of a spot before you arrive in town? Haha.This couple came all the way from Puerto Rico to visit Montreal. It was her first time ever seeing snow too! I wish it hadn’t been one of the coldest days of the year, but I think it worked out.I showed up early, took way too many photos of the clock pretending to be a tourist, took photos of the proposal (making sure I guided him before for his positioning) and then we proceeding to get introduced and walked around together for a few more photos. These shoots are so special because you both are soooo happy of this new stage in your relationship. I loved that this day was dark and cloudy, too. All in all a fun shoot.

The holidays are here! How FAST did it show up this year? 😩 Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday season. For most of us, it’s tough to slow down and take the time to “smell the roses” but hopefully you are putting your foot down this year and forcing it on yourself. Time flies and it’s important to make every moment count. ✨ Tell that client it can WAIT so that you can take some time to recharge. ✨ Take lots of pictures and videos (especially with YOU in them) ✨ Breathe and Take in the moments✨ Remember that the holidays aren’t easy for everyone so take that minute to call your loved ones… even if it’s just to say hey or remind them that you are around. I’m just a DM away if you are feeling lonely and want to chat. Or Let’s go for coffee? I’m sharing my little “family” session I did with @h3katelier this fall.
