There’s something funny that happens every time I photograph a fellow photographer. they have a little trouble “letting go”. hehe. Let me explain.

Bianca is a Family & Wedding photographer here and Montreal and she is was having a baby girl! So exciting! Being a photographer herself though, It’s very hard to be in FRONT of the camera … rather than taking the photos. Posing herself, making sure her hair was on point. But it’s ok. Don’t worry. I set her straight 😛 Just kidding, Bianca!

We had a good time.

In 2016, I started doing Double Maternity Sessions. This is how it works : We start at the client’s home and do some “This is me!” Boudoir. And then, Hubby comes in and we head outdoors for some lifestyle photos. The reason I do this, is simple. Mommy-to-be should remember how AMAZING she was while carrying their precious baby. In all forms. We strip down and then, we glam up. All this is done in two hours. We stay close to home so that Mommy (and daddy) doesn’t get too tired. For those who don’t remember, “This is me!” Boudoir sessions were added recently where the session is done in your own home and you do your own makeup and hair. It’s a “RAW” session, where you really show off WHO YOU ARE. Given the limits in lighting, The sessions turn out to be much Moodier. and much Sexier. looveee it.

Here is Bianca & Max’s session. I love it! This session is also a lovely example as to why I LOVE to shoot at sunset. The light is just… yum.
