L + N | Intimate Auberge St-Gabriel Wedding

This Montreal wedding was simple, intentional, and full of meaning. Man, I love small weddings.

The couple met while on vacation and quickly fell in love. He was living in the US and she was from Montreal, and after navigating long distance, they decided to get married here. Choosing Montreal felt natural, and Old Montreal set the perfect scene for their day.

They both got ready at the Marriott next door, which made the morning smooth and stress-free. Getting ready in the same hotel makes it SO EASY for me to go back and forth between rooms and not miss a beat. Hair and makeup were done by @jacinthe.benoit, keeping everything natural and timeless. The bride wore a DIY dress that reflected her personal style, paired with sandals from @pelinosandals and jewellery by @oliveandpiper. The overall look was relaxed, modern, and true to who she is.

The ceremony took place on the outdoor terrasse at Auberge St-Gabriel. It was a bright and sunny day, and the setting felt intimate without being overly formal. Surrounded by close friends and family, the couple exchanged vows in a space that felt warm and welcoming.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed reception with great food, music, and conversation around a long table in the Attic. Florals and decor by @kyotofleurs added a soft, elegant touch to the space. The cake and sweet table by @bayardroyal were a highlight for guests. Music was provided by McGill students, creating a fun and laid back atmosphere throughout the evening. Planning and coordination were handled by @lilyroseevents, ensuring the day flowed effortlessly from start to finish.

When asked for advice during the wedding planning process, the couple shared something simple and important: focus on what you want at the beginning when you decide to get married and why. That mindset was reflected in every choice they made.

This Auberge St-Gabriel wedding was a perfect example of how meaningful a day can be when it stays focused on what truly matters.
