C + C | Costa Rica Honeymoon

If you’ve been watching me for a while, you probably know that I’ve changed my retouching/style of shooting in the last year or ++. Because of that, I’ve been wanting to go back on my past sessions and re-retouching them to be able to blog them – you know, since I’m soooooooo behind. Slowly but surely, I’m getting through them.

I was going through 2016 today and retouched a few from this beauty of a session. Cynthia and Chris’ honeymoon session in Costa Rica. You heard right. These two just happened to be at THE SAME RESORT for their honeymoon while I was photographing another couple’s wedding. So, of course, we needed to shoot! I also happen to be going back to CR in two weeks so I wanted to get in the mood of one of my favorite places to visit.

I love these two so much. Yes, I realize that I haven’t even gotten to blogging their engagement nor their wedding yet but I’ll get there. Since we happened to be there at the same, It’s the least I could have done for them. Plus, how can you NOT shoot while in Costa Rica.

This session is also the first one when I decided to start shooting darker and started incorporating what I call “moments”. Periods during the session when we slow things down and my couples have a moment to just be together. I love this session. These are just highlights (obviously). I don’t really have the time to re-retouch entire sessions. Regardless, hope you love this too.

Love these Isa! The sunsets are spectacular but love where you’re going with the dark and the “moments” 🙂
